1. Train passes.
A train pass can be purchased for a single destination, but what happens if I want to make several stops in between? There are unlimited train passes in Europe (Eurail or Interrail) that will allow you to use the train network in the countries where you want to travel. While Interrail is a pass for permanent residents in Europe and Eurail is made for foreigners. Although both can use the same train network.
A very common question is: If I travel with my friends in Europe and I am a tourist, can I use the same Interrail train pass as them? No, if you travel with friends who are European or permanent residents in Europe, they travel with Interrail and you have to do it with your Eurail.
2. Duration of the passes.
The Eurail Global Pass offers unlimited train travel along a railway network covering 28 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland ( including the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland), Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey (Liechtenstein and Monaco are considered part of Austria and France, respectively).
There is a continuous pass of 15 or 22 days of travel or an option to select 1, 2 or 3 months of travel
You will also find the option for a flexible pass that offers 5 or 7 days of travel within a period of 10 days or 10 or 15 days of travel that can be used during a period of 2 months, allowing yiu to choose if you travel consecutive days or not.

4. Discounts for the Eurail pass.
Eurail regularly offers discounts for passengers under 28 years of age. Also, there are discounts for groups of 2 to 5 people traveling together.
In addition to that for each adult traveling, two children from 4 to 11 years can come along for free.
5. Reservations and observations.
This is a pass, which requires prior planning. Because the demand can be very high in holiday seasons, for international, panoramic, night trains, as well as high-speed trains, it is necessary to make a reservation. We recommend you do this between 60 and 90 before your departure.
It is worth mentioning that this train pass is not valid for traveling on Italo trains in Italy.
